Globe Wimax Bundle Plan 1,299 with Free UNLI-CALL to Globe and TM Review

As "Project Rain Fire" comes to an end by April 10, 2013, I have seen a lot of of other network subscribers trying to terminate their current subscriptions just to experience what Globe Telecom subscribers are enjoying.

However, most would be switchers are hindered by their lock-in periods. So what's the hype about the Globe's Project Rain Fire? As Globe is doing it's coun
try-wide infrastructure upgrades, more and more places are being covered such as Dingras, Currimao, Pagudpud, Sarrat, Solsona here in Ilocos Norte just to name a few. These places never experienced 4G although they are already 3G covered. But what makes this offer so unresistable?

Since not most of the would be switchers were not able to subscribe, here is a brief review of the Globe Tattoo@Home Wimax Bundle Promo. There are two Plan options Plan P1,099 and Plan 1,299 both of them are loaded with FREE unlimited calls to Globe and TM mobiles. The only difference is the bandwidth. The latter (Plan 1,299) comes with 2Mbps bandwidth while Plan 1,099 is only 1 Mbps.

After a 24 hour activation period for the UNLI-CALL feature, I had the chance to call as many friends as I could located anywhere in the country. I started with friends in my hometown until I reached a friend who is from Davao City. For every call I made, a minimum of 30 minutes each except the Davao call which lasted for hours until my friend ran out of batteries. The call quality was superb, no noise, no static whatsoever was observed during my calls. It was actually very clear and loud! Just the UNLI-CALL alone, I could say that I am willing to pay for this meager amount  for the quality service.

The DATA service (Internet) is also very stable. There are only a few occasions when speeds drop due to the ongoing upgrades but only on short durations. During peak hours, the speed is still within the specified range which very much favorable to online marketers like me and as well as those with online businesses.

    3. same here..sabi 1200 kasame na actication etc..yet when i tried to pay my first bill..kalurky na 3800..1 week ko lang nagamit ung unlicall nya..so i decided to stop the service and did not pay anything other than my advance payment...tsk!..MODUS

  4. bakit putol-putol yong connection namin sa internet.lagi kame nag refresh ng modem hindi bayan masisira laging karerefresh ng modem.para lang magkaroon uli ng connection sa internet ng globe?

  10. nagpakabit ako wimax with landline, kaya lang 1199 yung siningil sakin. pero monthly 999 lang daw babayaran ko. mga nakikita kong plan na katulad sakin 1099 & 1299. bkit kaya ganun yung sakin? parang ang gulo.. pashare naman po kung sino may alam.salamat!

  15. Mas worst ang experiwnce ko thru pldt home bro. Kumuha ako ngbundled plan nila comes with hp notebook and printer knowing n sabi eh mkukuha n agad fter paying the initialpayment n 2000. Nung ngbyad ako ayw ibgay! Antay ko daw mainstall ang canopy? Then nung iinstal n wala pa lng signal sa area ko. Bullshitt! Irefund ko n lng daw! Then nung mgrerefund ako sa unfriendlystaff ng san fernando la union 2 mos p dw bgo mkuha ang refund!! TOTALLY Naloko ako ng Mga Tangang. Tga pldt la union!! Ang tatanda nyo na manloloko pa kayo!! I subscribe to 999 wimax with landline. but they charge me 1.5k a month for the internet and 3k for the second month sa landline na hiindi ko nman ginagamit, next bill sa landlline naging 2k plus, tapos. ilang beses ako tumawag sa kanila but wala naman nangyayri. d ko alam ggwin ko, kasi umabot na sa 7k yung landline in 4 months, disconnect ko na nga pero may dumating bill pa din. anyone who have the same problem? anu po ba maganda gawin?

  19. Hi dear subscriber, I am very sorry to hear that. The previous plan introduced by globe with the traditional telephone is somewhat buggy and is prone to abuse by people who know about how modems and telephone equipment work. I suggest you to change plan. Downgrade your plan if you are not out of the 2 years lock-in period. But if you are already out, better apply for another one (Plan 1099 same features but a better version) and have your current plan terminated.

    Termination fee applies if you are still locked within the 2 year frame. A fee of 2500 will be charged plus 2 MSF so you will be able to terminate it.

    Plan 999 with phone is pay per use plan.

  20. Anu ba yan kakapakabit ko lng kahapo. Ng wimax natatakot tuloy aq sigurado ba talga unli call un? Plan 999 kinha q pero magbabayad daw aq ng 1200 in 5 months ksi sa phone daw ung 200 after 5 months 999 nalang daw...tapos sabi pa sakin unlitxt din daw un sa globe at tm

    1. Don't worry po if kapapakabit nyo lng just it it to call Globe and TM free po ang calls with plan 999. Bago po kasi na plan ito, di nga lng po unli text, may bayad po ang texting kahit sa Globe/TM pa kayo mag-txt.

  22. same samin magulo ang globe pinagbayad kame ng agent ng 1300, yung 1100 adavance daw +200 activation fee then dapat how much lng ang monthly lets say na 1099 +hidden charge na recuring fee bla bla bla 1.5k bkit ng 3k plus kame at sabi ng customer service ng globe hindi daw advance yun bayad daw sa installation fee yung 1.100 my god dapat sinasabi ng maaga ng mga ahente yan hindi yung makakabit lng kayo pano kayo nabubuhay na pinagkakain nyo sa panloloko di ko nmn nilalahat pero halos lahat ganyan modus

    • Installation fee of Php1,000 (charged to your first bill and is divided into three monthly installments)
    • Wireless Landline Activation Fee of P1,200 (Php200 paid upfront and P1000 charged to bill, amortized into 5 months) – only applicable to WiMAX/LTE Bundled Plans.
    • Modem Activation Fee of P1,200 (Php200 paid upfront and P1000 charged to bill, amortized into 5 months) – only applicable to LTE Internet-Only Plan 999.
