Build A Home Network with Globe Tattoo@Home Wimax 2 Mbps Bundle

Sharing the internet with family is the best way to take advantage of the Globe Tattoo@Home Wimax 2 Mbps Bundle. Aside from the voice capability of this package, it is also a quick seller.

Sharing the Globe Tattoo@Home Wimax 2 Mbps via WiFi is the quickest method, since most devices and gadgets now have WiFi capability. Another is sharing across a home LAN if safety from RF radiation is a concern. A LAN requires switches and cables to distribute bandwidth in different areas which in my opinion is harder to implement but this set-up is more secure and a lot safer.

LAN sharing requires a little MTU tweaking  if Windows XP is used, a MTU setting of 576 for 5 computers would be just fine. Windows 7 do not share the same weakness as Windows XP, it can automatically adjust to any network condition automatically.

Better yet, both LAN and WiFi methods are used to cover all gadgets and devices at once. In the forthcoming posts, I will be dealing with MTU tweaking by using a free software that will automatically set optimized network parameters for your Windows OS.
